What I have Learned

     I have learned about many interesting and very helpful writing tools this semester. I have learned about the power of a persuasive argument, how to directly talk to a reader and my audience in order to prove my point, how to use different sources in order to definitively show my reader that I understand to the fullest extent the topic I am writing about. My favorite tool that I've learned this semester is that writing in the first person is not completely unacademical. I believe that the least important topic that we have discussed in class is not shouting while writing essays. I think this because, in my experience, I have always monitored my tone and not had any problems with shouting through my text.
